The manual supplements ISO/TS16949 for quality and commercial requirements of suppliers. It includes specific information on how to properly complete a supplier's response to a Delphi Technologies Request for Quote, necessary packaging, labels, and scheduling requirements, and Delphi Technologies specific quality requirements. MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS - SUBSTANCES OF CONCERN

Delphi Technologies Specification 10949001 - Material Reporting, Substances of Concern and Recycled Content
This specification applies to all parts and raw materials that become part of a Delphi Technologies saleable product.  This specification has been revised to harmonize with recent OEM specification changes and references the Global Automotive Declarable Substances List (GADSL). Reporting must be completed for each Delphi Technologies part number.

Prohibited Substance Approval Form for Delphi Technologies Specification 10949001
Prohibited substances not approved for use by Delphi Technologies must be eliminated from the part or material. With the submission of this form, prohibited substance deviations may be granted on a case by case basis, depending on commercial application of the product. Full material composition is to be reported to Delphi Technologies via International Material Data System (IMDS), see below section "Related Documents" for additional instructions and reporting requirements.

In accordance with Delphi Technologies Customer Specific Requirements, all direct material suppliers are required to identify a Product Safety Officer (PSO) for the manufacturing site.  The PSO is the first point of contact for the product and reports directly to and/or is a member of the management team.
